Westwood selectmen weigh automated trash removal, 1-stream recycling

The board expressed interest in switching to a single-stream recycling program, where residents no longer have to separate their recyclables into glass, paper and metal categories. Instead, all recyclables are put curbside in a single bin, which encourages more recycling and therefore lessens the impact on the environment. — Wicked Local Westwood
