K-9 Cop: Raynham police dog ‘Jambo’ dies
A former canine cop for the town of Raynham died late last month, leaving the town’s police chief mourning the loss of a faithful friend and crime fighter. Owned and trained by Raynham Police Chief James Donovan, the German shepherd named Jambo — brought to Raynham from breeders in Presov, Slovakia — was one in a series of dogs who have served the town’s police since the late 1970s to help local law enforcement track down criminals and gather evidence. — Wicked Local Avon
