Cranberry Valley opens doors to Chatham residentsJust over 10-years ago, the picturesque Cranberry Valley Golf Course in Harwich boasted 1600 residential memberships. But as the years have gone by, and that membership base has aged, the total number dropped to roughly 850 for last season. In an effort to attract new golfers and memberships, the course has made the move this season to charge Chatham residents the in-town rate, as they try to solidify the membership base, said Dennis Hoye, Director of Golf at Cranberry Valley. — Wicked Local Harwich Mass.
